Fumes

We generate ozone when we are passionate in our pursuit. But it also comes at a cost. Am I crazy? Is it worth it? Why do it? Who will care? Nobody. Nobody will care and that is precisely why you should attempt it. Art is the process in which we derive our own meaning. It is the place in which we establish our own perspectives. Art is a lens in which we are forced to see ourselves, naked, desperate, and alone. Does that image make you happy? Liberated? Or confused and embarrassed? The answers to these questions you seal away in the medium, you imprison them. Until one day you are fortunate enough to come across your old creation, and realize that it means absolutely nothing to you now.
